I'm a Jeff Gordon fan. Before Jeff Gordon I had never gone to a NASCAR race and only watched parts of a few NASCAR races on TV. The only reason I watch or attend a NASCAR race now is to see Jeff do his thing, like no one else can. Until Jeff came along I was not a NASCAR fan. I hate it win Jeff loses but I'd never switch my allegiance. In fact, those few times that Jeff has been taken out of the race, for engine failure or wreck, I totally lost interest in the race and stopped watching. I know there are a few drivers who have won more races and championships but only because they have been racing longer. There has never been anyone like Jeff. But the thing that wins my heart over is the kind of person he is. I greatly admire him as a human being.
