3. Jeff Gordon takes the green flag at Michigan Speedway with 21 gallons of fuel. Let's say he averages 6 miles per gallon. One lap around Michigan Speedway is 2 miles long. On what lap will Jeff run out of gas?

4. Use the driver's car numbers to come out with the total:
Marcos Ambrose (9) + Brad Keselowski (2) + Kevin Harvick (29) + Joey Logano (20).
Take the total of those drivers. Divide the total by 10.
Take that number and multiply it by Robby Gordon (7).
Subtract that total by Kyle Busch (18). What number do you have?

--He races in 19 different states-- most often in North Carolina (5 times), which includes an exhibition race.
--Seven races are held within 250 miles of Charlotte, North Carolina where most of the race teams are located.
--Nine races are held west of the Mississippi River (twoin California, one in Nevada, two in Arizona, two in Texas, and two in Kansas).
--The farthest track from Jeff's home in North Carolina is Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California.
--The largest crowd to see Jeff race is at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
--Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida is the southernmost race on Jeff's schedule.
--The farthest north he races is New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire.
--Jeff was born in Vallejo, California which is located about an hour north of San Francisco. He grew up in Pittsboro, Indiana which is located just west of Indianapolis. He currently splits his time between New York City and North Carolina.
